This week, the U.S. government announced its withdrawal from over 60 international organizations, including institutions dedicated to climate action, peacebuilding and human rights.

At Open Social, we work closely with global partners like UN Women and the United Nations Development Program. So we’ve seen firsthand how vital these organizations are to tackling the biggest challenges of our time.

They represent collaboration on issues that no country can solve alone:

  • The prevention of war
  • The protection of displaced people
  • A livable climate
  • Equal rights and justice
  • Access to knowledge

And so, while governments may come and go, we remain committed to supporting the global institutions that hold the line, and push it forward.

That’s why we’re offering the Open Social platform at cost (covering only hosting and essential services) to any organization impacted by the U.S. withdrawal.

Our existing partners have shown what’s possible when international collaboration is supported by the right tools. We’re extending that support as a statement of principle.

If your organization is affected and needs sovereign digital infrastructure to continue your work — we’re here.
